Electrical service panel must be up to current NEC code
Panel must have space for an added 2-pole breaker
Wire run from panel to outdoor generator inlet is under 50 feet
Wire run does not traverse finished interior space
All wiring is run in metal conduit along exterior walls, unless the electrician determines a better installation method
